The light offers you protection and ensures your visibility even in the dark of the night.The ownposition of the boat can be seen through the use of thelamp for the environment in the water. This can be very important especially for flat boats like kayaks.

In order to be allowed to drive on the water at night, lighting is compulsory! All parts of the lamp are made ofanti-UV PMMA and can therefore withstand all weather conditions.

ATTENTION: The lamp has a fog sensor, whereby the lamp switches on automatically in fog. For sailboat drivers: Please mask the sensor when placing the mast.

There are 2 buttons on the underside of the lamp:The red, rimmed button “Power On / Off”switches the Lamp on and off and the silver, rimmed “Function Switch” button switches the various functions by pressing the button several times.

1. Function: whiteLEDs light up4 xin quick succession in time. Is used to display the position.
2. Function: whiteLEDs flash in time -(similar to function 1, only that now the LEDs not 4 xin quick successionlight up)
3. Function: SOS – white light emits an SOS symbol
4. Function: all white LEDs light up constantly
5. Function: The lamp is switched off -OFF

There is a functionwhich emits SOS light signals in an emergency (3rd function) if you are in an emergency and need help.

The Functions can also be switched using the remote control supplied. If the lamp has been switched off using the red framed button, it cannot be switched on again using the remote control. In order to be able to switch it on with the remote control, the lamp must be switched to the 5th function OFF with the remote control or with the silver-framed button.

The lamp has24 white, modern LEDs distributed over 360°.

Anyone who buys this product will also receive the suitable bracket from Lonakofor rail mounting / pipe mountingincluded free of charge.The Lonako bracket exists made of 2 clips and fits for tubes with a Ø (diameter) of29 mm – 33mm. By inserting amedium plastic sleevepipes from 23 mm – 26 mm or thesmall plastic sleeve17 mm -19 mm pipes can be used. Depending on how you attach the bracket to the lamp, it can be clamped to horizontal tubes or vertical tubes (see pictures).Please note that this bracket is not fasting compatible.

Fasten has several Designed extensions, so that the Lonako lamp receives a star adapter and thus becomes compatible with the fasting system. The following extensions are available:

1. Lf001 Basic extension without tilting function
2. Lf002 Extension with tilting function Joint with large teeth (large teeth are important for extensions, e.g. suitable for Ex225, Ex325, Ex610)
3. Lf003Extension with tilt function Joint with small toothing(small toothing is important for extensions, e.g. suitable for Ex400)
4. Lf1100 Extension with telescopic height adjustment up to max.1100 mm

Also included is a bird repeller that is glued to the lamp and prevents birds from standing on it. This is useful for larger boats, as the bird’s droppings affect the solar system. During assembly, the bird repeller should not be glued to the solar system. The best position isto coverthe Lonako logo.

If possible, the lamp should remain attached to the boat, this ensures that the battery is always fully charged. In the case of boats that are stored in the dark, for example, or the lamp is kept in a bag, thebattery may be completely discharged after about4 – 6months. The battery has a low self-discharge.

In such a casethe lamp must be placed insunlight for at least 10hours, so that it works again – as usual. The lamp can also be charged by the sun in winter, a visible sunbeam is not absolutely necessary. The required charging time is extended in the winter months. Light sources such as bulbs or lampsin the apartment are unsuitable. The lamp should be outside. Good places are balconies, gardenorwindow sills (outside).

Warning: The remote control is not – like the lamp – waterproof. It should not be held underwater.
